Brad grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and graduated from the University of Michigan in May 2004. After graduation, he lived in Honduras, Costa Rica, and Mexico, where he taught English.

In 2005, Brad began his career in immigration as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer in Miami, Florida, where he provided refugee resettlement assistance. He has gained extensive experience working at four immigration law firms and a law school immigration clinic.

Brad’s work has enabled him to become familiar with various types of permanent residency and temporary visa applications. Brad has been selected as a 2025 Super Lawyer. A Super Lawyer is an attorney recognized through a rigorous, multi-phase selection process for their high peer recognition and professional achievement, and only up to 5% of attorneys in each state receive this distinction.

Brad is an immigration consultant for the Mexican Consulate in Detroit, providing immigration legal representation to Mexican citizens. Brad is an attorney on the University of Michigan Student Legal Services Immigration Referral Panel. The Washtenaw County Public Defender’s Office contracts Brad as an immigration attorney to provide immigration assistance to their clients.

Brad was the media committee chair for the American Immigration Lawyers Association for the state of Michigan and founded the Washtenaw County Bar Association Immigration Law Section. Brad is fluent in Spanish and graduated from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan.
